Fire Within - Queens, Rebels and Revolutionaries -

Fire Within – Queens, Rebels & Revolutionaries

Presented by Tutu Dance Company, Core Dance Collective and Kingdom Choreography, Fire Within is a powerful celebration of women, dance and community.

Within every woman lies the power to be loud, to be bold and to bring about change in this world. This collaborative showcase celebrates the women throughout history who dared to break barriers and help shape a better future. It explores themes of courage, resilience and the challenges and beauty that come with being a woman.

More than a showcase, Fire Within celebrates the growing adult dance community across the South West — proving that it is never too late to dance, perform, challenge yourself and discover your own fire within. Together we showcase dancers of all ages and experience levels for an inspiring, fun and entertaining evening. Audiences will see performances in a variety of dance styles including jazz, hip hop, heels, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, tap and more, with each performance offering its own unique perspective on womanhood, strength and empowerment.

Come celebrate the queens, rebels and revolutionaries who came before us, those who stand beside us today, and the women who will shape what comes next.
