STORIES OF CHANGE, SEEDS OF HOPE

with WILD BILYA PLAYBACK THEATRE TROUPE

(Bec Schofield, Sari Bennett, Dawn Pascoe, Anu Grace, Janine Oxenham & Amy Johnstone)

Stories are the lifeblood of any culture. Personal stories reveal and connect us to ourselves, each other and what it means to be human. Playback theatre is a wonderful and unique way to deeply listen and honour our stories as a community. Mirroring back the moments offered up by the audience, the troupe transforms them into music and theatre on the spot, generating joy, empathy and connection. Wild Bilya Playback Theatre is an exciting troupe based in Wooditchup Bilya who are delighted to be involved in responding to our times through this community event.

“I laughed! I was teary. I was opened up. After it all I felt so connected!”

We will explore the stories of young people and elders, coming together to respond to our changing world and sow seeds of peace and hope.
