Fantastic Mr. Fox (PG)

After 12 years of bucolic bliss, Mr. Fox (George Clooney) breaks a promise to his wife (Meryl Streep) and raids the farms of their human neighbors, Boggis, Bunce and Bean.

Giving in to his animal instincts endangers not only his marriage but also the lives of his family and their animal friends. When the farmers force Mr. Fox and company deep underground, he has to resort to his natural craftiness to rise above the opposition.

The French Dispatch (M)

The French Dispatch tells the story of the final issue of an American magazine in the fictional French city of Ennui-sur-Blasé.

The film, directed by Wes Anderson, presents three distinct narratives: a convict artist’s rise to fame, student protests in the 1960s, and a food writer’s encounter with a police kidnapping. With a star-studded cast including Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, and Timothée Chalamet, the film blends humor and drama in a unique tribute to journalism and storytelling.

The Life Aquatic With Steve Sizzou (M)

Renowned oceanographer Steve Zissou (Bill Murray) has sworn vengeance upon the rare shark that devoured a member of his crew.

In addition to his regular team, he is joined on his boat by Ned (Owen Wilson), a man who believes Zissou to be his father, and Jane (Cate Blanchett), a journalist pregnant by a married man. They travel the sea, all too often running into pirates and, perhaps more traumatically, various figures from Zissou’s past, including his estranged wife, Eleanor (Anjelica Huston).

The Grand Budapest Hotel (M)

In the 1930s, the Grand Budapest Hotel is a popular European ski resort, presided over by concierge Gustave H. (Ralph Fiennes).

Zero, a junior lobby boy, becomes Gustave’s friend and protege. Gustave prides himself on providing first-class service to the hotel’s guests, including satisfying the sexual needs of the many elderly women who stay there. When one of Gustave’s lovers dies mysteriously, Gustave finds himself the recipient of a priceless painting and the chief suspect in her murder.
